Mukadzi – Colaboratório Feminista is a social enterprise and feminist collective created by women social scientists and researchers, with the purpose of generating knowledge, information and social innovation for gender equality and justice in the socio-economic, cultural and political areas in Mozambique.
We are a team of interdisciplinary professionals with extensive experience in the areas of social inclusion and women’s empowerment, tools for gender equality in the private, public sector and civil society. We have specific experience in areas such as economic resilience for women (including endogenous savings and rotating credit practices), transformative leadership for women, human rights, sexual and reproductive health and rights, integrated response to gender-based violence, education, feminisms and social movements.
We want to transform our society through creative knowledge building and sharing of information and data on gender issues and women’s rights, to support civil society organizations, the private sector and public institutions, in order to apply effective approaches to equity and gender equality.
We want to transform the economy and business culture, developing solutions for greater inclusion of women and gender equality in the different economic sectors in Mozambique.
